Available Positions
President – Term 1 year
The President leads WIPN and ensures the organization delivers on its mission to empower women in the retirement and financial services industry. This role provides overall strategic direction, oversees board operations, and supports committees, chapters, and key initiatives. The President represents WIPN in industry partnerships, guides organizational priorities, and ensures programs and communications are consistent and mission-driven. She works closely with the Board to strengthen member engagement, sponsor relationships, and WIPN's presence across the industry. Prior WIPN board experience required.
Vice President – Term 1 year
The Vice President supports the President in leading WIPN and advancing its mission to empower women in the retirement and financial services industry. This role helps guide organizational strategy, supports board and committee operations, and represents WIPN in key initiatives. The Vice President also steps in for the President when needed and helps ensure programs, chapters, and partnerships run smoothly and consistently.
Secretary – Term 2 years
The Secretary serves as the primary record-keeper for WIPN's board of directors. This role includes preparing agendas, documenting meeting minutes, maintaining official organizational records, and ensuring compliance with bylaws and governance requirements. The Secretary facilitates communication among board members, supports the Board Chairs, and helps ensure board activities are conducted efficiently, transparently, and in alignment with legal and organizational standards.
Marketing – Term 2 years
The Marketing board member helps WIPN expand its visibility and clearly communicate its mission of empowering women in the retirement and financial services industry. This role provides strategic guidance and execution of branding, messaging, social media, email communications, branded premiums and event promotion. The role works with board leaders and volunteers to promote WIPN programs, research, and initiatives, ensuring outreach is consistent, professional, and aligned with WIPN's goals. She helps strengthen engagement with members, sponsors, and industry partners through effective, mission-driven communication.
National Events – Term 2 years
The Head of National Events leads the planning and execution of WIPN's major national programs, including conferences and signature industry events. This role oversees event strategy, logistics, programming, speaker coordination, and partner engagement to ensure high-quality experiences that reflect WIPN's mission.
Chapters/East – Term 2 years
The Chapters East Board Member oversees and supports WIPN's East Coast chapters, helping ensure consistent programming, strong member engagement, and alignment with WIPN's mission. Partnering closely with the Chapters West board member, they guide chapter co-chairs and monitor chapter activity, assist with volunteer coordination, and strengthen connections between local chapters and the national board. The Chapters East Board Member also helps identify opportunities for growth, collaboration, and improved member experience across the region.
