Jennifer Rutley

Jen is a career coach, neuro-leadership psychologist, and executive team facilitator who blends practical leadership tools with insights from neuroscience and behavioral change. She works primarily with women and leadership teams in financial services, where expectations are high and the culture often reflects norms that were not originally shaped with women in mind. Her coaching helps clients navigate that tension with steadiness, self-awareness, and a leadership style that feels both natural and effective.
Her work focuses on authentic leadership development, navigating difficult conversations, managing competing demands, and addressing the mental load that comes with being “the one who holds it all.” She also helps clients shift unproductive patterns by understanding how the brain works and how neuroplasticity supports lasting change.
She offers specialized services in group coaching for women—centered on identity, resilience, courage, mindfulness, and connection—as well as team-effectiveness coaching for organizations facing interpersonal challenges.
She holds a Master’s in Organizational Psychology, is completing a Doctorate in Leadership Psychology and Neuroscience, is a Certified Executive Coach through the UC Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute, and is a Certified MG Taylor Facilitator. She is also trained in Kantor’s Structural Dynamics and the Six Conditions for Team Effectiveness.
